Wooden Window Repairs carried out works on 11 timber sash windows on my Victorian house. The works included: Overhaul of 11 windows: Removing sashes, planing and sanding sashes and boxes. Refitting sashes with new catches and sash lifts. Ensuring all sashes worked smoothly.  Draught proofing: Including fitting windows with new draught proofed parting beads, fitting brushes to top and bottom of sashes. Decoration. Complete external decoration of all 11 windows. Filling and sanding of all windows followed by 2 coats of Weathershield undercoat and final top coat of Weathershield exterior gloss The quote was received promptly after the initial site visit and there was no pressure to purchase. All the windows now open and close smoothly and there are no drafts or rattles anymore. The draft proofing has been more successful at blocking out traffic noise from the road than I was expecting. Luke and Tom were friendly, polite, professional and tidied up as they worked over each window. The finished windows look like new and make a huge improvement to the appearance of my house. The work was completed within the timeframes set at the start of the job and the final invoice was as per the initial quote. Overall, we very pleased with the finished job and I would happily recommend their work.
